About Me
My Story
Before beginning my own self development journey, I built my career in social care and mental health, supporting children, young people and individuals living with schizophrenia, affected by substance misuse. Over the years, I progressed from support worker to Registered Manager, and now work as a Responsible Individual, overseeing services for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. This work continues to be a huge part of who I am and remains my full-time role. It has also been deeply shaped by my own lived experiences, which have given me a strong understanding of resilience, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of feeling safe, supported, and understood.
After moving to a new area just before Covid-19, I found myself feeling isolated and disconnected from my support network. Wanting to create connection and community, I started a local book club. Around the same time, I began therapy, a decision that became one of the most important turning points in my life. It gave me the space to reflect, heal, and begin asking myself what truly brought me joy, purpose, balance, and fulfilment.
That journey led me into mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and breathwork. After speaking with a local yoga teacher, I decided to train as a yoga teacher myself, and what started as curiosity soon became something much deeper. Yoga became more than movement; it became a way of reconnecting with myself. It supported me through stress, uncertainty, growth, and change, while also opening the door to meaningful relationships, community, and a deeper understanding of wellbeing.
As my passion for health and the body grew, I went on to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist, alongside further training in women’s health, hormone wellbeing, meditation, breathwork, and holistic wellbeing practices. I have a particular interest in gut and hormone health and the powerful connection between the mind and body. I believe wellbeing is not about perfection or quick fixes, but about learning to understand your body, support your nervous system, and create sustainable habits that help you feel healthier, calmer, and more connected to yourself.
I now specialise in supporting women through all stages of life, from menstrual health and fertility, through pregnancy and postnatal recovery, and into perimenopause and menopause. My approach combines professional knowledge with lived experience, creating support that is compassionate, realistic, and deeply person-centred.
I also understand how vulnerable it can feel to step into a new space or begin your own journey, particularly in a world filled with short videos, quick fixes, and conflicting advice online. While social media can be inspiring and informative, it can also feel overwhelming and make it difficult to know what guidance is safe, evidence-based, and genuinely supportive. That is why I believe in creating a space grounded in professional training, lived experience, and realistic, sustainable approaches to wellbeing. My aim is not to promote perfection or trends, but to offer informed, compassionate support that helps people better understand their bodies, build confidence, and make meaningful changes that truly support long-term health and wellbeing.
If you are struggling with confidence, stress, burnout, or feeling disconnected from yourself allow me to walk with you. Creating welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environments is at the heart of everything I offer. My aim is to help people feel seen, safe, empowered, and encouraged.
